7. Truman Show

Great movie, great critisizm what more we can tell about it. Post modern era uncovered a sickness of humankind; voyeurism. Truman, character of this movie is a prisoner in a fake town everthing is provided for a perfect stage and his life is controlled by the producer of The Truman Show. Every relation he has is a part of the show, his job is fake and every action is precisely acted. His only wish is to see Fiji Islands but somehow actors in the show obstruct him. Truman Show can be examined carefuly because all the scenes offer another critisizm over post modern life.

6. Killing us softly

We are all familier with these ideas that women are forced to fit in a shape which media and popular culture decides. In this documentary, Kilbourne criticizes effects on women from a womans perspective. Most of her ideas are true but in a point i disagree with her, as i analize my female friends they are all happy to be like popular idols, they like to read magazines nothing included except of fachion and stupid party photos. Media and popular culture is all about consuption, if they are getting profit out of it why should they use it? Maybe in a point of view women are not so concerned about being a meta object because men are so easily attarcted and women like getting attraction.

5.Winn drugged herself with scandal

She is a dedicted offender of Tv's effects but is she sincere or is she creating these texts for getting benefit from a conservative group? For my opinion she is a fraud, ask me why? She was the first scandalous star of tv shows. In 1958 she attended to a tv quiz show named Dotto, i can sense that you are starting to think that "wasn't she a tv hater?" nope. Marie lost her notebook and the notebook was found by another contestant, all answers to the questions was in the notebook! This scandal ended Dotto and made Marie Winn the first star of a quiz show scandal. Now think again did you really believed what she defended?

4.Plug-in drug

What a conservative point of view! Marie Winn is really a conservative, she is full of anger with to TV. I couldn't understand why? Is all Tv programs harmfull to family life or does it really necessary to avoid tv. In our family watching movies together is a funny activity but it seems Marie Winn doesn't agree with us. I confess that sometimes I use Tv as a drug but who cares it is the easiest way! Whatever Marie Winn says my family will continue to assemble in front of our TV set.

3.Eng 101

Sonja told us to create new post about this semesters English course. I can easily say this year is totaly different for me, last semester i havent even attended to a single lesson but this year i am trying to accomplish everything what is needed to be done. I have learned to blog and it seems interesting for now. Also i have learned lots of about media and photo journalism by researching these topics i have found out lots of critical things too.

2.Reality TV; Killing Moral Issues

A reality radio program in Australia tried a new format, polygraph. When you think, it is totally unnecessary. Why would someone be curios about a strangers lies? To this point it is just stupid but what happened afterwards is unacceptable! A 14 years old teen is staped to this machine and questioned about her sex life and unfortunately she was was raped at age 12 and DJ Kyle Sandilands attide was very inproperite for that situation. How can a Tv programer can ask such questions to a 14 years old girl. If media continues to make these programs ethic will be lost in a generation.

1.Voyeurism

Reality Tv, it really has a binding force on great masses of people. Why? I don't exactly know why. Maybe it is because retired people or housewifes need something to make them entertain cheap, all day long and continually exist. I don't really want to talk about this.
These days we are all talking about Kurdish "opening" and lots of things are going on. Cabinet and opposition are discussing and insulting each other. Recep Tayyip Erdogan wanted an appointment with Deniz Baykal to solve problem or even for informing opposition. Baykal accepted this with a demand, to be watched as Big Brother.
After that relation between them is streched. Recep Tayyip Erdogan sad that is totally different with politic ethic and cancelled the proposal. Whatever I am not going to get politic but as you see, what ever you are everybody is in Reality Tv.
